What is it?

transXport is a suite of reusable software components targeted to builders and integrators of banking and financial software solutions.We also call it "Connection Kit" because it could be compared with those universal connection kits that let you plug in a device anywhere in the world, regardless the shape of the electrical or phone socket. This is accomplished through transXport modular adaptors that can be combined to translate banking or financial transactions from one format to another.

What problems can be solved with it?

Import / Export features
One of the core features of many banking and financial applications is allowing the users to view their account balances and detailed transactions. Users expect to be able to export those transactions into their favorite accounting or PFM packages or, conversely, import from them. transXport allows your software solution to interact with those packages regardless of the internal format of the transactions.

Integration with legacy and off-the-shelf packages
transXport also facilitates the integration of systems that follow different transaction formats. The integration between legacy applications, off-the-shelf packages and tailored component can be greatly simplified with our transXport modular adaptors.

Implementation of web services
transXport empowers banking and financial web services developers to easily build solutions compatible with all the supported standards.

How are the components used?
transXport provides a simple API to build an adaptor between two specific transaction formats. Both the input and output to/from the adaptor can be manipulated at the following levels:

2. Transaction
3. Group of Transactions
