The system is compliant with e-Security solutions, interfaces with Medical Equipments based on HL-7 interfacing and with DICOM standards. iHMiS fully supports all international coding standards such as ICD 10, CPT, HCPCS, SNOMED etc. It is fully compliant with the EDI transaction and messaging exchange standards such as HL-7 and HIPAA.

In addition, it accommodates barcode, RFID, and smartcard technology.
The system provides for Content Management, Knowledge Management, Document and Image Management applications, newsletter services for health-care related articles and news updates, patient feedback management system, surveying system, staff scheduling software , drugs manufacturing process management application, test results recording and Quality Assurance software, and Coding and Classification through a Computer-Based Patient Record (CPR).

Completely hosted model
Here the customer need not have any infrastructure in terms of Hardware /Software or IT specialists in their pay roll; they only need to have Internet connectivity and their personnel will be trained to use the application.
The customer depending upon their preparedness can take a call on which module to deploy. The entire hosting is done on a secure VPN mode; therefore the customer can see only his related application and database. The greatest advantage to the customer is that every single facility is managed by Idhasoft's professional IT team members.
The implementation methodology of Idhasoft combines an understanding of the business functions, reporting and technology goals of the company, and working out the solution in manageable segments. Each of the modules is created with the above aim.
The following is the methodology workflow.

While planning and selecting a subject area the larger business and technological perspectives are given importance. No two organizations are the same. Each organization may require some subject areas and not the others. Identifying them at the earliest possible stage will save time and efforts. Once the subject areas are chosen all the requirements for each area are gathered. These requirements are gathered from the end-users. The source of data is analyzed by studying technical resources. Business model prototypes are developed and test runs are conducted before the go-live stage. This will help map the user expectations with the actual solution. A review of obtained from the users in order to edit or modify the solution. Once the solution has been frozen the end users are trained to use them. This finally leads to the deployment of the solution. Deployment is not the last stage of the solution life-cycle. Implementation of any solution is an iterative process that requires constant monitoring.
Adequate training is provided to the end users as well the technical team in order to solve any problems that may arise after implementation. A first level escalation team within the customer organization will be deployed by Idhasoft to deal with any issue that may arise. Only on the occasion that no internal resolution is offered will Idhasoft team come into play. This involves a contract signed by both the parties.
iHMiS is an Internet/ Intranet based system, developed on the Microsoft web technology platform and the Oracle database. The application is based on n-tier model, which means that you can implement it as an intranet system as well as a hosted system. The entire hosting functions on a very secure VPN mode; therefore the customer can see only his related application and database. The entire application is connected to a very high connectivity system. This model also facilitates easy integration with e-health systems.
